Sarah and Shawn were married in an intimate wedding ceremony at the Schoolhouse in Munster among their closes family and friends. Their care and appreciation for friends, family and those that made the day was shown in their many handmade touches including handmade bowls as favors to all their guests and thoughtfully for yours truly (merci!). For the occasion her talented father crafted a willow bench and table and chair for signing. A lovely ceremony with a caring touch of rustic charm. T and N - At the Schoolhouse-Ottawa wedding photographer

If you follow my blog, you will remember T an N and their little miss G- I have been looking forward to this wedding from the moment I met this amazing couple. This amazing wedding was steeped in Scottish tradition right down to the smallest details. The couple took part in a traditional rose ceremony for their mothers, who were each given a rose preceding the ceremony. The vows were so touching I found myself teary and unable to see through my lens. Congratulations T, N and little G.

WHAT THE BRIDE SAID: WICKED! AWESOME! From the very first time that I met Melanie right to the very last picture that she took at our wedding she was phenomenal. Fun, energetic, great attention to detail, budget saavy, those are just a few of the words that I would use to describe Melanie. She made a girl who was absolutely terrified of the camera feel like a woman who felt sexy, stunning and hot on her wedding day! I would absolutley recommend Melanie for your wedding pictures! This will not be the end of the pictures that you will be taking for us. Family photos should be next and then, God willing, some maternity shots!

The Parker Family - Celebrating Love and Family

After many years and 3 wonderful children later, D&D came together to celebrate their love and their family in an intimate ceremony at the Lovely Schoolhouse in Munster, Ontario. It was moving to see the love this family has for each other, and what could have been more special than to have their children witness. A lovely day.

Every wedding is special and captures your heart in many ways, but when Jennifer & Reg married at the Schoolhouse in Munster, Ontario, I felt so a part of their day, that I felt like a welcomed guest and not just "the photographer". R and J have an incredible love between them that could be felt among everyone. Congratulations J and R and thank you for having me as part of your day. Props to the Schoolhouse staff who put this lovely affair together in under 2 weeks and to planner Joan-anne Cantley of Viva la Wedding for her day-of services - it was flawless. caterer, "The Mixing Bowl" prepared a lovely cocktail reception and beautiful cake.
